{"id":10053,"date":"2019-08-14T08:52:27","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T06:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/la-consejera-de-agricultura-de-la-junta-de-andalucia-y-la-delegada-provincial-visitan-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2019-08-14T17:07:32","modified_gmt":"2019-08-14T15:07:32","slug":"andalucian-government-agriculture-minister-visit-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/andalucian-government-agriculture-minister-visit-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"Andaluc\u00edan Government\u00b4s agriculture Minister and provincial director visit Moj\u00e1car."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The Andaluc\u00edan Government\u2019s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Sustainable Development, Carmen Crespo, along with Almer\u00eda\u2019s Provincial Director Ar\u00e1nzazu Mar\u00edn, recently visited the Moj\u00e1car wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) with the town\u2019s Mayor, Rosmari Cano and the Councillor attached to her Office, Francisco Garc\u00eda.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The visit was part of the planned expansion of the town\u2019s (WWTP) with \u201cfundamental infrastructure,\u201d according to the Minister, which sealed the commitment to a project that should have started in 2007. The new Andaluc\u00edan Government placed this among its top investment priorities in order to guarantee the sanitation of the municipalities throughout Almeria\u2019s Levante.<br \/>\nThe Ministry emphasized the relevance of these improvements to the entire region, which is predicted to have an estimated population of 53,800 inhabitants by 2036, rendering the 25 year old purification systems obsolete.<br \/>\n\t \u201cMoj\u00e1car\u2019s treatment plant of is one of the most important in all of Almer\u00eda and what the Andaluc\u00edan Government are doing now is to relaunch its expansion with the implementation of the process that will allow us to start the project as soon as possible,\u201d said Carmen Crespo, adding that the provisional approval is already signed and will be available as public information soon.
