{"id":10501,"date":"2019-11-12T11:30:26","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T09:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/exito-de-participacion-y-organizacion-en-la-viii-media-maraton-y-7k-ciudad-de-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2019-11-13T09:31:41","modified_gmt":"2019-11-13T07:31:41","slug":"mojacar-holds-successful-half-marathon-and-7k-ciudad-de-mojacar-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-holds-successful-half-marathon-and-7k-ciudad-de-mojacar-race\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car holds successful VIII Half Marathon  and 7km \u201cCiudad de Moj\u00e1car Race\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The VIII Half Marathon and 7km \u201cCiudad de Moj\u00e1car\u201d race were held last weekend, organized by Moj\u00e1car Council\u2019s Sports Department and Puerto Lumbreras\u2019s  Nogalte-Hogar Athletics Club.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It is a day that continually attracts more amateur and professional runners participants, with 620 runners taking part, 100 more than last year, all keen to compete the circuit prepared by the local Council that runs alongside the Paseo del Mediterr\u00e1neo.  A total of 21,097metres were covered by the half marathon runners on their three laps, with 7,097metres on the one lap 7km race.  The virtually flat circuit also had skaters and joellete chair athletes joining in the on the scenic coastal route which started and finished by Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Best Oasis Tropical Hotel, the official hotel of the race.<br \/>\n\tPrizes were given to the first three in the all ten male and female categories of the half marathon, with a trophy for the first 5 home runners, a commemorative trophy for the oldest athlete to cross the line as well as team trophies, with trophies also for each of the five categories in the 7km race.<br \/>\nWinners in the 7 km race were; Andr\u00e9s Palma (EDM Hu\u00e9rcal Overa, Sabina Rico (Nogalte- Hogar Puerto Lumbreras), EDM Hu\u00e9rcal Overa (men&#8217;s team) and RealRunning (women&#8217;s team).<br \/>\nHalf marathon winners were; Ennio Constantino (C.A. South East), Esther Galver (C.A. South East) and C.A. Southeast (men&#8217;s team)<br \/>\n7 km Inline Skate winners were; Jorge Vitores (CPV M\u00e1laga) and Alicia Garc\u00eda (Club Patinajenfila Cartagena CPC) with Fabio Manuel Mart\u00ednez (C.D.
