{"id":11028,"date":"2020-03-11T18:36:48","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T16:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/la-prestigiosa-agrupacion-acuarelistas-almeria-expone-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2020-03-12T12:06:24","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T10:06:24","slug":"top-almerian-watercolourist-show-at-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/top-almerian-watercolourist-show-at-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Almerian watercolourist show at Moj\u00e1car."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car\u2019s La Fuente Art Gallery recently opened its doors to an exhibition of watercolour paintings by the prestigious \u2018Agrupaci\u00f3n Almeriense de Acuarelistas,\u2019 which has some of the top artists in the province.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The official inauguration was attended by the local Culture Councillor, Raquel Belmonte, who had the opportunity to chat to some of the artists about their paintings after a studious walk around this stunning exhibition.<br \/>\nAssociation President, Mar\u00eda Mira, spoke about the group\u2019s progress since they started off in 2008 and, the 40 members meet every Friday to work together on their watercolours at El Bajo de Santa Teresa, Almer\u00eda.<br \/>\n\tPainting at first under the eye of Visconti, the well-known Almer\u00edan artist and also their President of Honour, the group has journeyed over the years through the wonderful world of watercolour, renowned for its luminous colours and soft shapes. The Association was fortunate to have Visconti\u2019s expertise in guiding them along the way to capture the beauty of the province\u2019s magical corners, until his 94th year.<br \/>\n\tThere are 57 paintings in the exhibition by 22 artists, with the most charming parts of Moj\u00e1car strongly represented, as well other places around Almer\u00eda and different parts of the world.
