{"id":14964,"date":"2020-09-22T17:19:57","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T15:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=14964"},"modified":"2020-09-22T17:19:57","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T15:19:57","slug":"mojacar-presents-the-show-charlie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-presents-the-show-charlie\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car presents the show &#8220;Charlie&#8221;, a tribute to the world\u00b4s greatest comic actor."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The show, \u201cCharlie\u201d, with the Fernando Hurtado Dance Company, will be staged at Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples on Friday, September 25th at 9 p.m.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The event is part of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda\u2019s current Public Theatres cultural programme, to which Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Department of Culture and its Head of Department, Raquel Belmonte, are affiliated.<br \/>\nThis is the second production to take place at Moj\u00e1car within this &#8220;Enr\u00e9date&#8221; Andaluc\u00edan initiative, a project that is aiming to meet the demands of the theatrical sector by supporting events on municipal stages. In addition, it is hoped that these shows will attract new audiences, as well as those that already have a great love of the theatre, as in the case of Moj\u00e1car.<br \/>\nCreator, Fernando Hurtado, is a dancer and choreographer, running his own company since 2000, which was the same year he won 3rd prize at the XIV 14th Madrid Choreography Contest.  Born in Malaga, on graduation from the city\u2019s School of Applied Arts, he immediately joined the nearby &#8220;La Central&#8221; School of Dance and Theatre. After later taking up a scholarship to study classical dance in France, he continued his training in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Frankfurt, and New York.<br \/>\nHis creation, \u201cCharlie\u201d, is a tribute to the versatile artiste, Charles Chaplin, who is considered a worldwide icon of humour and silent cinema.
