{"id":15327,"date":"2021-05-11T10:09:53","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T08:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=15327"},"modified":"2021-05-11T10:09:53","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T08:09:53","slug":"piano-concert-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/piano-concert-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"Piano concert in Moj\u00e1car for the &#8220;Indalos de flores&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The piano students from the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School gave a concert with which they wanted to pay a small homage to the \u201cIndalos de Flores\u201d, which for the second year in a row had to be postponed due to the health restrictions.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tThe Plaza del Parterre, dominated by an indalo of flowers and the decorations typical of this festivity, was the setting for this musical show offered by eight of the music school\u2019s young pianists.<br \/>\n\tFrom classical music like Handel\u2019s Passacaglia to pop and music from well-known video games, and under the direction of their teacher Yolanda Parra, they filled the plaza and the streets of Moj\u00e1car with happy musical notes.<br \/>\n\tThe Municipal Music School teaches, among others, this instrument, which is one of the most complete there is.<br \/>\nThe municipal school\u2019s piano department offers the students the opportunities and the levels they want to reach: whether they just want the pleasure of learning to play or as preparation for studying a degree in piano.<br \/>\n\tTraditionally they offer several concerts throughout the year, at which you can appreciate the students\u2019 progress.<br \/>\n\tThis year they wanted to coincide with the \u201cIndalos de Flores\u201d festivity, its celebration having been interrupted by Covid-19.<br \/>\n\tThe \u201cIndalos de Flores\u201d, organised by the Moj\u00e1car Pueblo Traders Association in collaboration with the Moj\u00e1car local authority, has been successfully celebrated since 2016, with many taking part.<br \/>\n\tLast year it was social media which, through videos, displayed the distinctive indalos decorating homes, balconies and patios, recreating typical corners of Moj\u00e1car, thanks to Moj\u00e1car\u2019s youngsters.<br \/>\n\tFor the 2021 edition, again thanks to young people, the \u201cIndalo de Flores\u201d was full of musical notes, in anticipation of being able to get back to the celebration just as it has been done: a welcome to spring, full of flowers, open-air dancing and fun in all the corners and streets of Moj\u00e1car.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The piano students from the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School gave a concert with which they wanted to pay a small [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":15330,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"rs_blank_template":"","rs_page_bg_color":"","slide_template_v7":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[34,32],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-15327","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad-en","category-news"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/15327","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=15327"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/15327\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/15330"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15327"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=15327"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=15327"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
