{"id":15741,"date":"2021-07-27T13:24:40","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T11:24:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-sendero-luna-llena\/"},"modified":"2021-07-29T19:20:54","modified_gmt":"2021-07-29T17:20:54","slug":"mojacar-sendero-luna-llena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-sendero-luna-llena\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car 2021 full moon walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Yet another year, Moj\u00e1car Council, through the Sports Department and the Almer\u00eda Provincial Council, organised its traditional Full Moon Route, which goes along the La Mena-Macenas trail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tIn the light of the full moon, to add more charm to what are in and of themselves unique Moj\u00e1car routes, a group of 46 \u201cMoon Trail\u201d walkers were able to enjoy this distinctive experience included in the Provincial Hiking Programme, which the Provincial Council\u2019s Sports Department and the Moj\u00e1car local authority promote.<br \/>\n\tFor several years these Moonlight trails have been becoming established as a must-do date for walkers and hiking enthusiasts. There was a very high response to the 2021 notification and there had to be two groups, each accompanied by their respective guides, and which successfully completed the entire route.<br \/>\n\tWith a difficulty classification of \u201cmedium-low\u201d, this 10-km track runs through strategic points in the area\u2019s economic and social history.<br \/>\n\tThe group of hikers, also accompanied by the Moj\u00e1car Council Sports Councillor, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1, and by members of Civil Protection, made stops at the most emblematic points for explanations about the location in question.<br \/>\n\tThe Mena-Macenas Trail takes the visitor back to the mining past, starting off with the footprints left by the iron exploitations\u2019 mule drivers and transporters, and continues with the Nasrid past and the defence of the Mediterranean coast.
