{"id":15896,"date":"2021-08-17T17:33:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-17T15:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=15896"},"modified":"2021-08-19T10:03:44","modified_gmt":"2021-08-19T08:03:44","slug":"mojacar-concerts-sports-activities-end-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-concerts-sports-activities-end-august\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car programmes concerts and sports activities up to the end of August"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p> This Thursday 19th of August, Sara Jim\u00e9nez &#038; Pablo Gim\u00e9nez will be in Moj\u00e1car with their flamenco show \u201cVariaci\u00f3n a Tempo\u201d, which will take place in Plaza Nueva at 10pm <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tThis show was the winner of the Fern\u00e1n G\u00f3mez Theatre Award, Villa Cultural Centre 2020 Dance and Flamenco Choreography Competition,<br \/>\n\t\u201cVariaci\u00f3n a Tempo\u201d, according to its creators, is a reflection on the passage of time, with the idea of space as a force which creates and initiates everything. It is in empty space where movement becomes possible.<br \/>\n\tThis exceptional, top quality flamenco show, will feature Pablo Gim\u00e9nez on guitar, performing his own compositions. The original idea, stage direction, choreography and stage design are by Sara Jimenez.<br \/>\n\tThe August programme, planned by Moj\u00e1car Council\u2019s Culture Department for up to the end of August, will include a jazz concert on Friday 20th at 10pm in the Plaza del Front\u00f3n by Jos\u00e9 Luis Ja\u00e9n and Friends, who will take a journey through their familiar songs: jazz, bolero, son cubano and flamenco, which he embraces in his voice for an unforgettable night.<br \/>\n\tOn Sunday 22nd of August at 10pm in the Plaza del Front\u00f3n, the music continues to take centre stage in Moj\u00e1car with a performance by \u201cLa gata Brass Band\u201d with Beatbox to Brass, a group made up exclusively of wind and percussion instruments, which transports us to New Orleans.<br \/>\n\tMusic keeps the rhythm going on Tuesday 24th with \u201cJazzmenco\u201d at 10pm in Plaza Nueva, and on Wednesday 25th, children will also enjoy music with the performance of \u201cMulan la Princesa Guerrera\u201d (Mulan the Warrior Princess) in Plaza Nueva at 9.30pm.<br \/>\n\tThe rhythm continues in the locality on Friday 27th August with \u201cVelada Rinc\u00f3n de Embrujo\u201d (Evening corner of enchantment) exhibition of old photographs and musical performance in the Plaza del Front\u00f3n at 10pm.
