{"id":16515,"date":"2021-11-19T10:22:46","date_gmt":"2021-11-19T08:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/las-excavaciones-mojacar-la-vieja-motivo-estudio-xii-congreso-internacional-estudio-las-producciones-almohades-nazaries\/"},"modified":"2021-11-23T11:28:42","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T09:28:42","slug":"mojacar-la-vieja-excavations-subject-for-study-at-the-13th-internacional-congress-for-the-study-of-almohad-and-nazrid-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-la-vieja-excavations-subject-for-study-at-the-13th-internacional-congress-for-the-study-of-almohad-and-nazrid-production\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car La Vieja excavations subject for study at the 13th Internacional Congress for the study of Almohad and Nazrid production."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The 13th XIII AIECM3 Congress on medieval and modern Mediterranean ceramics organised by the University of Granada has been held in Granada, and in which archaeologists from the Moj\u00e1car la Vieja excavations took part, presenting the conclusions obtained so far.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tIn the presentation \u201cCharacterisation of the Almohad and Nasrid Productions in the Levante region of Almer\u00eda\u201d, the Moj\u00e1car la Vieja dig site and the discoveries made in the three excavation campaigns served as an example and subject for analysis by the archaeologists from all over the world attending the congress.<br \/>\n\tThe presentation was made by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn Civantos, Director of the excavations and of the University of Granada Biocultural Archaeology laboratory, as well as Cristina Martinez, Noelia Aguado, Julio Rom\u00e1n, Pablo Romero, Jorge Rouco, Jos\u00e9 Abell\u00e1n, Blas Ramos, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Moreno and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Martin Civantos, all of them members of the laboratory and archaeologist specialists in different subjects, who have actively participated in the Moj\u00e1car la Vieja works.<br \/>\n\tThe presentation developed many of the conclusions already set out in Moj\u00e1car at the end of the third excavation campaign in September this year, and thanks to digitalisation and the efforts during these months, it has been possible to admire in 3D many of the important pieces found.<br \/>\n\tLa AIECM3 is an international organisation for the study of medieval and modern ceramics in the Mediterranean. It organises its international conference every three years and also programmes innovative themed workshops.
