{"id":16616,"date":"2021-11-30T19:34:59","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T17:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=16616"},"modified":"2021-11-30T19:34:59","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T17:34:59","slug":"mojacar-music-school-guitar-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-music-school-guitar-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Guitar students from the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School give a concert in the locality"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p> Guitar students from the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School have given a concert for residents and visitors to the locality, with a large audience able to enjoy a wide and varied repertoire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\t Under the direction of guitar teacher Francisco Gonz\u00e1lez Ridao, the 11 students taking part in the concert performed, among others, an anonymous romance very well-known in the classical repertoire of this instrument, and popularised in the film \u201cForbidden Games\u201d, as well as the theme titled \u201cI will survive\u201d and \u201cThe Godfather\u201d, followed by such well-known themes as \u201cMy Way\u201d, \u201cHotel California\u201d and \u201cThe Sound of Silence\u201d, among others.<br \/>\n\tAll their perfomances were highly applauded, and the audience highlighted the pleasing impression of the major progress made by the students.<br \/>\n\tThe guitar classes are currently taught as one of the disciplines within the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School. There are 23 students between the Spanish guitar, flamenco guitar, electric guitar and electric bass classes.<br \/>\n\tThey are also included in the musical language classes, with two groups: beginners and advanced.<br \/>\n\tFrancisco Gonz\u00e1lez Ridao has undertaken in Moj\u00e1car the task of forming a guitar orchestra with 11 of the school\u2019s students.
