Moj\u00e1car Council has renewed its SICTED Comprehensive System for Spanish Tourism Destination Quality distinction for five of Moj\u00e1car\u2019s beaches, as well as its tourist office, having continuously been distinguished with this recognition since 2015.<\/p>\n
Moj\u00e1car Council has for several years through its Tourism Department successfully opted for the management of its tourist offices and its beaches with the comprehensive quality this distinction demands.<\/p>\n
The official presentation of these awards was made by representatives of the Levante region of Almer\u00eda Grouping of Municipalities at the Garrucha Cultural Centre and collected by the Moj\u00e1car Council Tourism Councillor, Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero Leclerc, and the Director of the Tourism department, Carmen Garc\u00eda Campoy.<\/p>\n
The evaluation committee has awarded the Playa Venta del Bancal, Playa de las Ventanicas, Playa Piedra Villazar, Playa del Descargador and Playa Marina de la Torre beaches the SICTED stamp.<\/p>\n
As well as these beaches and the Moj\u00e1car Tourist Office, two of the municipality\u2019s establishments were distinguished: Hotel Mamabel\u2019s and the Neptuno beach bar.<\/p>\n
SICTED is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, SETUR and the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda\u2019s Regional Tourism and Sport Ministry with the aim of improving tourist experience and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
These distinctions are the support for the \u201cTourism Quality Commitment\u201d recognition, which credits and recognises the efforts made by tourism services to reinforce quality. The distinction is valid for two years, although it is conditional on an annual follow-up evaluation by their inspectors.<\/p>\n
The recognition which these beaches have received this year by the Secretary of State for Tourism is on top of the recognition they habitually receive with the Blue Flags, which the European Foundation for Environmental Education awards annually, and which every summer fly on the beaches of Moj\u00e1car.<\/p>\n

Moj\u00e1car Council has expressed its satisfaction with these awards, which together with the Blue Flags, also renewed on six of its beaches for 2022, represent a guarantee of quality for the tourist and support for its management and the intense work carried out over the years in this sector, highlighting one of the municipality\u2019s most important attractions.<\/p>\n
The financial and human investment in the beaches of Moj\u00e1car has resulted in an increase in services, personnel and the quality of their facilities.<\/p>\n
Quality and effort that extends to all the services which the municipality offers to the visitor and that amply justifies the distinctions which SICTED awards to Moj\u00e1car.<\/p>\n
