The painting exhibition by the \u201cARTEFACTO\u201d collective which brings together the area\u00b4s best artists, is inaugurated in Moj\u00e1car. <\/p>\n
\tThe Moj\u00e1car Council Tourism Councillor has inaugurated a painting exhibition by the \u201cArtefacto\u201d collective, which is being held in the La Fuente Municipal Art Centre, remaining open to the public until 31st October.
\n\tThe Artefacto collective is currently made up of 11 artists, although it is open to the incorporation of new artists of any nationality and already has several requests to become part of it.
\nVirtually newly born, Artefacto was created to achieve a lovely project, the aim of which is not only to organise art exhibitions, but also other proposals that they plan to carry out throughout the year, such as cultural or social workshops, among many other activities, always associated with collaboration with charitable institutions. For this exhibition, they have had the Vera Lions Club and a part of the proceeds will be donated to this institution.
\nThe Vera and District Lions was founded in 2012 and forms part of Lions International, the world\u2019s biggest humanitarian organisation. In the Levante area they raise funds which are used to support local charitable entities, as well as directly to people in need.
\n\tThe Moj\u00e1car exhibition is the first held by the collective as such, and is initially made up of eight artists: Ricardo Rej\u00f3n Garc\u00eda-Pichi, Elizabhet Attewell, Marijose Gonz\u00e1lez Iglesias, Pamen Merchante, Serafin Redondo, Ulli Butz, Heidi Gaber and S\u00e1ez.
\n\tPainting and sculpture that attracted a large number of visitors at the inauguration, which was also attended by members of the Moj\u00e1car Council Government Team, who did not want to miss this interesting show which has brought together a large part of the area\u2019s best artists, and that also demonstrates their support for this initiative combining art and social work, being a platform of assistance solidarity with the region.
\n\tThis exhibition has free admission in the opening hours of mornings, from 10am to 2pm, Wednesday to Sunday; an appointment is necessary at other times and on other days.<\/p>\n
