{"id":20036,"date":"2023-06-21T13:47:08","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T11:47:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/cruz-roja-mojacar-organiza-gran-festival-oro-proximo-sabado\/"},"modified":"2023-06-22T11:49:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-22T09:49:19","slug":"red-cross-mojacar-organises-grand-festival-gold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/red-cross-mojacar-organises-grand-festival-gold\/","title":{"rendered":"MOJACAR RED CROSS ORGANISES A GRAND FESTIVAL OF GOLD FOR NEXT SATURDAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Spanish Red Cross Moj\u00e1car Local Association has, in collaboration with the local Council, organised the \u201cGrand Festival of Gold\u201d for this Saturday 24th of June at 8pm in the Moj\u00e1car Multi-Uses Centre.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tThe Grand Festival of Gold is a set of several performances by different artists, that, in solidarity, will include music by the Municipal Music School\u2019s guitar orchestra and a performance by the violinist Luis Jos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez Moraza, the Cuevas del Almanzora Conservatory lead violin.<br \/>\n\tIt will also feature poetry with readings of the work \u201cSilencios que cobran vida\u201d (Silences that come to life), by the poet Mar\u00eda Emilia Guti\u00e9rrez Contreras, who will personally perform her compositions.<br \/>\n\tBut the most important surprise will come from the \u201cTheatre Company for the Elderly\u201d, belonging to the Moj\u00e1car Red Cross Association of the Third Age, with an original work: \u201cLa Parada\u201d, written and performed by themselves. A stellar performance by 11 actors belonging to this senior citizens\u2019 group.<br \/>\n\tLa Parada has been written collectively and creatively by our senior citizens. It is an original idea from the members of the senior citizens\u2019 group, as are the characters who will appear throughout the play. A comedy full of humour, which will undoubtedly make us smile more than once.<br \/>\n\tThe theme is a surprise, just like the scenery, which has been designed and thought out by the participants in the Red Cross\u2019s painting workshop. A workshop that is producing new artists, and who have collaborated in the staging of this contest.<br \/>\n\tThe Moj\u00e1car Red Cross Local Association has called on all the region\u2019s residents and visitors to attend the performance on Saturday. For a symbolic price, five euros, for which you also get a Golden Raffle ticket, not only is a fun and entertaining evening guaranteed, but it also helps this institution, which at the current time needs our collaboration more than ever.<br \/>\n\tIts work is immense, and in difficult times its help represents the only support for many families and many elderly people.<br \/>\n\tConcepci\u00f3n Rivero, President of the Moj\u00e1car Red Cross Local Assembly, wants to put out a call to action to everyone to collaborate with this charitable association, mainly by becoming a member, even if it is only for a symbolic amount.
