{"id":20584,"date":"2023-08-10T09:30:54","date_gmt":"2023-08-10T07:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/ayuntamiento-mojacar-inicia-una-campana-concienciacion-ambiental-las-playas-espacios-naturales\/"},"modified":"2023-08-10T09:34:01","modified_gmt":"2023-08-10T07:34:01","slug":"ayuntamiento-mojacar-inicia-una-campana-concienciacion-ambiental-las-playas-espacios-naturales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/ayuntamiento-mojacar-inicia-una-campana-concienciacion-ambiental-las-playas-espacios-naturales\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car Council starts a beach and natural spaces environmental awareness-raising campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car Council has started a communication campaign to raise environmental awareness among residents, visitors and users of the locality\u2019s beaches and natural spaces through a series of actions throughout the entire municipality.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tAttending the presentation were the Moj\u00e1car Mayor, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1, and his government team: Noem\u00ed Linares, Mar\u00eda Gracia Alarc\u00f3n, Mar\u00eda Luisa P\u00e9rez, Sergio Alonso and Jes\u00fas Montoya.<br \/>\nFrancisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1 explained the importance of \u201csustainability as one of the main objectives linked to the tourism development of our municipality and the conservation of the natural resources as one of the vitally important aims, the beach being one of the priority spaces to protect.\u201d<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car has 17kms of coastline in a succession of beaches that make up a fundamental tourist attraction, especially in high season.<br \/>\nEven though environmental awareness is growing, the Moj\u00e1car Council Government Team wants to take responsibility for communicating to beach users both the basic rules for using this natural resource as well as other messages linked to the conservation and environmental protection of the territory.<br \/>\nThe main aim of this campaign is focused on improving the state of the municipality\u2019s beaches and natural spaces environmentally and in social awareness-raising so that this is possible.<br \/>\n With this awareness-raising campaign, they also want to emphasize, in a clear and effective way, objectives like keeping the beaches clean, pointing to the coast as a vulnerable natural space.
