Many of them also dressed up and hugged their cuddly toy versions.<br \/>\nNearly 3,000 people did not want to miss Moj\u00e1car&#8217;s tribute to the legendary Walt Disney and take a photo or greet many of their favourite characters who were parading through the streets of the municipality.<br \/>\nFrom Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, dancers performing choreography from The Lion King, with Simba and Nala included, to Micky and Minnie, the most photographed, and to Snow White and other princesses, the witch with her apple, Alice and so on to a long list of characters with which all the leads of the Disney filmography were remembered.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Magic of Disney in Moj\u00e1car\u201d, organised by the Local Council and the Walt Was Here Association, which investigates the possible birth of Disney in Moj\u00e1car, is a celebration that is now part of the municipality&#8217;s calendar and that every year will improve and expand in its organisation.<br \/>\n\u201cA dream come true,\u201d according to the president of the Association who, together with the Local Council, has the decision to keep the magic of Disney in Moj\u00e1car more present and more alive every day.<br \/>\nTwo large murals now decorate the streets: one at the entrance to Moj\u00e1car, where Micky welcomes visitors, and another next to the municipal public school, where the story of Walt Disney and his possible Moj\u00e1car origins greets children every morning before going into the school.<br \/>\nThis Christmas, and as part of the programming put together by the Local Council for December, starting on the 8th, the day of the official Moj\u00e1car Christmas lights switch-on gala, it is planned that the Disney characters will return to the locality and all the children who so wish will be able to see them and get photos of themselves with them in the squares and main streets of the old town from 7pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The second edition of \u201cThe Magic of Disney in Moj\u00e1car\u201d, held last Sunday, filled the locality\u2019s old town with many [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":21738,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"rs_blank_template":"","rs_page_bg_color":"","slide_template_v7":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[34,32],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-21741","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad-en","category-news"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/21741","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=21741"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/21741\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/21738"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=21741"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=21741"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=21741"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
