{"id":22046,"date":"2023-12-20T18:52:16","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T16:52:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=22046"},"modified":"2024-01-02T10:41:47","modified_gmt":"2024-01-02T08:41:47","slug":"mojacar-receives-the-recognition-of-the-most-beautiful-villages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-receives-the-recognition-of-the-most-beautiful-villages\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car receives the recognition of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain at its 11TH General  Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The Most Beautiful Villages in Spain Association held its 11th General Assembly this weekend, which this year took place in the C\u00e1diz town of Grazalema. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Among the 80 delegations from the member villages that attended this meeting, Moj\u00e1car was represented by the Moj\u00e1car Council Tourism Councillor, Mar\u00eda Gracia Alarc\u00f3n, who took part in all the events and meetings scheduled for the occasion and who also had the responsibility of receiving the recognition for Moj\u00e1car for being part of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain since its foundation 10 years ago.<br \/>\nThis recognition was presented to the Moj\u00e1car Tourism Councillor by the president of the Association, Francisco Mestre.<br \/>\nMar\u00eda Gracia Alarc\u00f3n expressed gratitude for the distinction on behalf of the municipality and repeated Moj\u00e1car&#8217;s commitment to the founding aim of The Most Beautiful Villages in Spain, which includes the preservation and promotion of its history, tradition and culture as well as the work carried out, always based on sustainability and respect for the environment.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car&#8217;s membership of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain Association has for the locality meant important support for tourism promotion and support for its dissemination in this important sector, both inside and outside our country.<br \/>\nThis Association is a role model for backing the recovery of small localities and their artistic heritage and a strategic factor in local and regional development.
