{"id":22919,"date":"2024-02-29T10:30:34","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T08:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-dia-andalucia-banda-musica-paella\/"},"modified":"2024-02-29T10:38:21","modified_gmt":"2024-02-29T08:38:21","slug":"mojacar-andalucia-day-music-band-paella","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-andalucia-day-music-band-paella\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car celebrates Andaluc\u00eda Day with the Municipal Music Band and a giant Paella"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car celebrated Andaluc\u00eda Day 2024 with the raising of the Andalucian flag in the Town Hall Square in the presence of all the Local Authority councillors and many members of the public, residents and visitors, who wanted to join in this moving moment. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moj\u00e1car Mayor Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1 had the responsibility of the official flag raising while the locality&#8217;s Municipal Music Band performed the Andalucian anthem.<br \/>\nOnce the Andalucian flag was flying in the Town Hall square along with the national and European Union flags, the Municipal Music Band offered a concert to the attendees with a selection of pasodobles and traditional music that they could enjoy and which was highly applauded.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car Council had also planned, as usual, to celebrate such a special day with a giant paella, which they shared free of charge with all those who wanted to come to the celebration of this festivity.<br \/>\nTo top it all off, the staging of a performance of \u201cSangre Flamenca\u201d could not be missed, which brought to a close a 28th of February that in Moj\u00e1car, as in all parts of Andaluc\u00eda, was experienced with great joy.<br \/>\nFor their part, the schoolchildren of the Moj\u00e1car Public School had already celebrated their special Andaluc\u00eda Day last Tuesday with a special breakfast: an \u201cAndalucian breakfast\u201d that they were able to enjoy at breaktime.<br \/>\nAll the pupils, more than 350, attended class dressed in the typical costume or with significant details: flowers, scarves, hats and caps that gave a note of colour to the school playground.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car Council and the Centre provided the breakfast, consisting of bread with natural tomato and virgin olive oil.<br \/>\nA good way to celebrate Andaluc\u00eda Day, promoting and encouraging young people to keep up popular traditions, full of good sense, which include, as a very important part, cuisine and the use of local products.<br \/>\n  Andaluc\u00edan cuisine, the Mediterranean diet in general, is not only healthy food, it is another facet of the culture of Andaluc\u00eda that is becoming more valued every day among young people and that cannot be forgotten.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moj\u00e1car celebrated Andaluc\u00eda Day 2024 with the raising of the Andalucian flag in the Town Hall Square in the presence [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":22914,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"rs_blank_template":"","rs_page_bg_color":"","slide_template_v7":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[34,32],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-22919","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad-en","category-news"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/22919","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=22919"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/22919\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":22921,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/22919\/revisions\/22921"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/22914"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=22919"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=22919"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=22919"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
