{"id":23115,"date":"2024-03-12T14:17:52","date_gmt":"2024-03-12T12:17:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-dia-de-la-mujer-viaje-charlas\/"},"modified":"2024-03-13T10:06:59","modified_gmt":"2024-03-13T08:06:59","slug":"mojacar-international-womans-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-international-womans-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car celebrates International Women&#8217;s Day wuth a trip and talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>To mark International Women\u2019s Day Moj\u00e1car Council organised a trip for local women which this year took them to Valencia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As is customary, Moj\u00e1car women make the most of International Women&#8217;s Day for a getaway that is always eagerly anticipated and welcomed as a reason for coming together and disconnecting from the daily routine.<br \/>\nMoj\u00e1car Council Culture Councillor, Noem\u00ed Linares, and Health Councillor, Ana Garc\u00eda, accompanied the 48 women who joined this municipal initiative on their visit to the city of the Turia.<br \/>\nThey left Moj\u00e1car on Friday 8th of March, arriving at their destination in the late afternoon, allowing for a first excursion and contact with the city.<br \/>\nOn the Saturday they were able to go to the musical \u201cEl Tiempo entre Costuras\u201d, an exciting staging in which the sewing workshops, the glamour of the large hotels, political conspiracies and the secret services make up an entertaining story written by Mar\u00eda Due\u00f1as which is currently being performed at the Olympia Theatre.<br \/>\nSunday morning was also used for a guided tour to see the most emblematic places, such as the Cathedral, the Silk Exchange and the Central Market.<br \/>\nIt is now traditional that every year Moj\u00e1car Council calls on its female residents to go on a getaway to different parts of Spain. A getaway that is always accompanied, in addition to the de rigueur cultural visit, by attending a show of the moment, whether theatre or musical.<br \/>\nFor its part, the \u201cMariquita la Pos\u00e1\u201d Women&#8217;s Association, in collaboration with Moj\u00e1car Council, also on the occasion of the celebration of International Women&#8217;s Day, held a meeting at the Moj\u00e1car Multi-Uses Centre to which other women&#8217;s associations in the region were invited.<br \/>\nTurre, Los Gallardos and Moj\u00e1car Women&#8217;s Associations had the opportunity to chat about female empowerment and its dynamics, women\u2019s problems in today&#8217;s society in general and its transformation. The talk was given by Emy Pardo, Emotional Coach, with 20 years of work, expert in mental reprogramming and the creator of the P.E.A method to help become a confident person and achieve goals.<br \/>\nThe talk was a success, getting all the participants to interact, and ending with a social afternoon snack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To mark International Women\u2019s Day Moj\u00e1car Council organised a trip for local women which this year took them to Valencia.
