{"id":23214,"date":"2024-03-18T13:46:19","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T11:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/concierto-piano-alumnos-escuela-musica-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2024-03-19T10:54:53","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T08:54:53","slug":"concierto-piano-alumnos-escuela-musica-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/concierto-piano-alumnos-escuela-musica-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"The Municipal Music School offers a piano concert as the start to the Easter week activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Students from the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School offered an open-air concert last Sunday in which they performed works by composers such as Tchaikovsky and Brahms, among others.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Plaza del Front\u00f3n in Moj\u00e1car was the place from where the notes of the great composers of all time filled the village with music and harmony under the baton of the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School piano teacher, Yolanda Parra Niederhauser.<br \/>\nThe concert began with student Elisa Dochia, who also did the programme drawing, performing Swan Lake, one of the best-known works by Russian romantic composer Piort Llich Tchaikovsky, ending her performance with the anonymous score Greensleeves.<br \/>\nAlex Ignat performed the Hungarian Dance by Johannes Brahms and a minuet by J.S. Bach. Roberto Sola Parra delighted with the Nuvole Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi and Sofya Kofanova with the well-known \u201cSugar Star Planetarium\u201d by Pedro Silva and \u201cAlla Turca\u201d by Mozart.<br \/>\nThe students Enya Mart\u00ednez KESEC and Antonio Lucas Montoya continued, with \u201cRemember Me\u201d from the soundtrack of Coco and \u201cSchindler\u2019s List\u201d from the soundtrack of the well-known film of the same name and \u201cPapill\u00f3n\u201d and \u201cEndless Love\u201d, respectively.<br \/>\nYolanda Parra has for almost 20 years been in charge of training the very youngest, between three and seven years old, in the musical initiation classroom. She is also the piano teacher at the Municipal Music School, which has more than 30 students divided into different learning levels.<br \/>\nThe Municipal Music School, with about 120 students, offers possibilities for learning nearly all instruments: wind, woodwind and brass; percussion; guitar and string instruments in general and piano, being the source of most of the Municipal Music Band members. It also has a singing classroom. The registration period for the next course will open in May.<br \/>\nThe music classes and for learning to play the piano, as well as any instrument for which the Moj\u00e1car Municipal Music School has teachers, officially begin with the school year, although anyone who\u2019s interested can join at any time.
