{"id":23586,"date":"2024-04-23T09:34:14","date_gmt":"2024-04-23T07:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/se-clausura-iii-certamen-corto-mojacar-2024-la-presencia-del-actor-juan-riba\/"},"modified":"2024-04-24T09:41:36","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T07:41:36","slug":"se-clausura-iii-certamen-corto-mojacar-2024-la-presencia-del-actor-juan-riba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/se-clausura-iii-certamen-corto-mojacar-2024-la-presencia-del-actor-juan-riba\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2024 III Moj\u00e1car Short Film Competition closes with the presence of the actor Jaime Riba"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The III Short Film Competition in Moj\u00e1car, bringing together Almer\u00eda filmmakers in a conference, which for this edition was held in the locality between the 12th and 20th of April at the Multi-Uses Centre, has come to a close.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Around 700 people were able to enjoy the interesting offer that the competition offered, whether viewing the short films or taking part in the master classes held during the gathering.<br \/>\nOne of the many novelties of this year\u2019s Moj\u00e1car Short Film competition was the extension of the screenings of the short films: at 9pm and 11pm, to be able to be viewed by those spectators who for reasons of work could not attend. The step was very well received and the Multi-Uses Centre was filled to capacity at both sessions.<br \/>\nAttending the closing was the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda\u2019s Tourism, Culture and Sports delegate in Almer\u00eda, Juan Jos\u00e9 Alonso, the Moj\u00e1car mayor, Francisco Garc\u00eda, accompanied by members of his government team, as well as the competition director, Antonio Casado, directors, actors, members of the short film production teams and a large audience.<br \/>\nFrancisco Garc\u00eda pointed out the creation, innovation and passion the professionals achieve through short \u201cbut impactful\u201d stories. He also wanted to make special mention of the pupils of the Moj\u00e1car schools, Bartolom\u00e9 Flores Public School and Rey Alabez Institute, for their excellent work in the short films made, \u201cdemonstrating the talent of the young people of Moj\u00e1car.\u201d<br \/>\nIn reference to the celebration of the Moj\u00e1car short film competition, the mayor described it as \u201can excellent showcase of the world of cinema, also a platform to publicise the diversity of voices and perspectives of our cinematographic panorama.\u201d<br \/>\nThe mayor wanted to highlight and pay tribute to all the people involved in the world of cinema who, with their work, give us \u201cworks of art\u201d that represent a \u201cwindow to new opportunities to connect on a deeper level.\u201d<br \/>\nOn this last day there was the presence of the guest of honour, Jaime Riba, who addressed the audience, recalling his beginnings in theatre and in Vera&#8217;s musicals.<br \/>\n\tToday Jaime Riba is a renowned actor who has been in highly successful series such as \u201cCentro M\u00e9dico\u201d, \u201cCaronte\u201d and \u201cLa que se avecina\u201d. Throughout this weekend, he had the opportunity to again go around the streets of Moj\u00e0car which he knows well from his childhood and was received at the Town Hall by the Culture Councillor, Noem\u00ed Linares, and to sign the Town Hall&#8217;s Book of Honour.
