From the 21st of February to the 5th of March, the municipality will be filled with parades, costumes and shows, with a programme designed for locals and visitors to enjoy the magic of this celebration.<br \/>\nThe kick-off will be on Friday 21st of February with the Children&#8217;s Carnival, when the very youngest will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, craft workshops, dances and musical games at the Multi-Uses Centre. The day will end with a concert by Los Lagartos and DJ SEE, starting at 10pm, an event that promises to liven up everyone who goes along.<br \/>\nOn Saturday 22nd of February, the party will take to the streets with the traditional Parade of Troupes, which will go along Moj\u00e1car Playa from R\u00edo Abajo to the Commercial Centre from 5pm. In the evening, the Multi-Uses Centre will host the Dance Competition at 8pm, when participants will show off their talent in a competition full of rhythm and creativity.<br \/>\nLater on, the eagerly awaited Grand Carnival Party will get underway, a night of music and fun with live performances by the Orquesta El Norte and DJ Ra\u00fal Vazco, who will liven up the night until well into the early hours of the morning.<br \/>\nThe festivities will culminate on the 5th of March with the Burial of the Sardine, a symbolic act that will mark the end of this grand celebration. From 7pm, a procession will go around the streets in a farewell full of tradition and good humour.<br \/>\nThe Mayor of Moj\u00e1car, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1, has underlined the importance of this festivity for the municipality: \u201cCarnival is one of our most emblematic festivals and every year it improves in terms of participation and creativity. We want Moj\u00e1car to shine with its Carnival and for both locals and visitors to enjoy a unique experience, full of joy and togetherness.\u201d<br \/>\nFor his part, the Festivities Councillor, Pascual Artero, commented: \u201cWe have worked on a programme designed for all ages, with activities for the very youngest, traditional events and a big party that is sure to be unforgettable.
