{"id":28821,"date":"2025-10-17T09:40:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T07:40:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-exposicion-fotografia-verdiblanca\/"},"modified":"2025-10-17T09:44:26","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T07:44:26","slug":"mojacar-photographic-exhibition-verdiblanca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-photographic-exhibition-verdiblanca\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car hosts Verdiblanca&#8217;s &#8220;Meaning of life&#8221; Photographic Exhibition until the 31st"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The &#8220;La Fuente de Moj\u00e1car&#8221; Art Centre is hosting the &#8220;Sentido a la vida&#8221; (Meaning of Life) photography exhibition from the 16th to the 31st of October, an exhibition promoted by the Verdiblanca Association for People with Disabilities which invites people to reflect on functional diversity from a positive, vital and inclusive perspective.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The inauguration was attended by representatives of Verdiblanca, Moj\u00e1car residents and local authorities, among them the Culture Councillor, Noem\u00ed Linares, who highlighted the importance of welcoming projects that promote equality and social awareness through art.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis exhibition is an example of how culture can be a powerful tool for building a more empathetic, aware and diverse society. Moj\u00e1car is proud to join this initiative which highlights people&#8217;s abilities beyond any barriers,\u201d Linares stressed during the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sentido a la vida\u2019 was created as part of the commemorative activities for Verdiblanca&#8217;s 40th anniversary and has already toured various municipalities in the province, as well as the headquarters of the Andalusian Parliament in Seville. Its creator, photographer Francisco Lag\u00fcera, offers a profound and humane vision of people with disabilities through his portraits, far from stereotypes and from a perspective of overcoming, beauty and hope.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but there are times when it&#8217;s worth millions of words, because it conveys emotions, hopes, struggles, desires, skills and feelings,\u201d explains Verdiblanca President Antonio S\u00e1nchez de Amo.
