Moj\u00e1car has signed an agreement to begin the process of joining REDD \u2013 the Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity<\/strong> \u2013 a strategic step towards a more inclusive, sustainable, and competitive tourism model. The signing marks a milestone for the municipality, reinforcing its position as a destination open to diversity and committed to tourism quality.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With its distinctive white architecture, renowned Mediterranean coastline, and wide range of cultural and gastronomic offer, Moj\u00e1car has enormous potential for continued growth through differentiation and inclusion. This agreement will allow for the development of a specific roadmap that incorporates inclusive communication guidelines, training for the local tourism sector, and support in integrating diversity into the destination’s offer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The aim is to consolidate a tourism model in which everyone feels welcome, encouraging the involvement of businesses, SMEs, and the self-employed in building a more accessible and diverse offer.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Mayor of Moj\u00e1car, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1<\/strong>, underlined the importance of this step for the municipality: \u201cMoj\u00e1car is a destination with its own identity, open and welcoming. With this membership, we want to reinforce our commitment to inclusive tourism, where everyone can enjoy what we have to offer on equal terms.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n He also pointed out that \u201cthis initiative allows us to continue moving forward in quality tourism by involving the entire local community – businesses, the self-employed and administration – to build a more competitive, sustainable destination and prepared to respond to new demands of tourism.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As part of this process, Moj\u00e1car will make up part of international promotional activities alongside REDD, including its presence at leading tourism fairs such as Berlin\u2019s ITB.
