\n\u2022\tThe initiative has the collaboration of the local association TEAMA, and delves into the realities of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Moj\u00e1car, Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1, highlights Moj\u00e1car Councill’s ongoing commitment to visibility and social inclusion, inviting residents and visitors to attend the screening of the documentary \u201cHacia el bosque\u201d (Towards the forest), a sound and cinematographic narrative that explores the realities of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The event will be held tomorrow, Friday 24th of April at 7.30pm in the Senior Citizens’ Centre.<\/p>\n

This activity takes on special significance in the municipality thanks to the presence and work of the TEAMA association, a leading local organisation supporting people with autism and their families in Moj\u00e1car. The Local Council is thus strengthening its alliance with local organisations to raise awareness about sensory diversity and the developmental stages of those living with ASD.<\/p>\n

A cross-cutting and human focus directed by \u00d3scar Gagliardi and produced by Agust\u00edn Ernesto Mart\u00ednez-Gonz\u00e1lez, a neuropsychologist at the University of Alicante, “Hacia el bosque” is the result of extensive filming carried out between 2022 and 2025. The film offers a comprehensive overview, ranging from the uncertainty of families following the initial diagnosis to professionals\u2019 accounts and data provided by internationally renowned researchers.<\/p>\n

The documentary stands out for its high artistic merit and sensitivity. \u00d3scar Gagliardi (Kilombo Films), filmmaker and father of a child with autism, brings a personal and intimate perspective by including a sound poem that reflects his own feelings and experiences. Mart\u00ednez-Gonz\u00e1lez, director of the GINTA research group and composer of the musical project AMAGO, has composed the conceptual soundtrack that accompanies the story. <\/p>\n

Music and Science in collaboration with the University of Alicante, funded by the University of Alicante, the project is not just an audiovisual piece, but a “sound narrative” based on the album released by the group AMAGO in 2023. The film aims for viewers to understand that people with autism have a different sensory world, inviting empathy through image and sound. Moj\u00e1car Council invites all residents and visitors to attend this free screening, which offers a unique opportunity to better understand ASD thanks to experts, artists, and, above all, the voices of those at its centre.
