{"id":31608,"date":"2026-08-31T17:42:41","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T15:42:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/mojacar-inaugura-el-parque-de-las-familias\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T09:31:59","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T07:31:59","slug":"mojacar-opens-the-family-park-a-new-space-to-share","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-opens-the-family-park-a-new-space-to-share\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car opens the Family Park, a new space to share"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;148252&#8243;]<strong>The day continued with the traditional children\u2019s ribbon races, filling the afternoon with excitement, music and a sense of community<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Moj\u00e1car Council opened the new <strong>Family Park (<\/strong>\u201c<strong>Parque de las Familias\u201d),<\/strong> this Saturday, a space designed to become a meeting point where the municipality\u2019s children, senior citizens and families can come together and enjoy themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The opening brought together numerous local residents and visitors who wanted to join the Local Council in inaugurating this new space, designed specifically for people to enjoy time together and to continue making Moj\u00e1car an increasingly united, friendly and welcoming municipality for families.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the opening of a new park, the afternoon provided a particularly heart-warming sight: that of young and old sharing the same space, enjoying themselves together and filling it with life right from the start.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Mayor of Moj\u00e1car, <strong>Francisco Garc\u00eda Cerd\u00e1<\/strong>, highlighted the importance of continuing to create places dedicated to community life and residents\u2019 well-being.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis park was created with a very simple, yet very important purpose: for families to have a place to meet, where children can play and be children, and where we can continue to make memories together. Seeing it so full of life today is, without a doubt, the best way to open it,\u201d he commented.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following the inauguration, the day continued with one of the most heart-warming events of the patron saint festivities in honour of Saint Augustine: <strong>the children\u2019s ribbon ceremony.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The boys and girls then took centre stage on an afternoon filled with excitement, smiles and tradition.
