{"id":4759,"date":"2016-12-24T10:42:25","date_gmt":"2016-12-24T08:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/alcaldesa-concejales-invitados-almeria-today\/?lang=en"},"modified":"2017-01-16T14:51:44","modified_gmt":"2017-01-16T12:51:44","slug":"mayor-and-councillors-onto-almeria-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mayor-and-councillors-onto-almeria-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Mayor and councillors onto &#8220;Almer\u00eda Today&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><strong>The Mayor of Moj\u00e1car, Rosmar\u00ed Cano, accompanied by Councillors Mar\u00eda Luisa P\u00e9rez (for Non-Spanish Speaking Residents) and Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero (for Tourism), were recently interviewed on the English language local radio station, Spectrum.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The programme &#8220;Almer\u00eda today\u201d, hosted by Richard Shanley, invited the senior members of the Moj\u00e1car administration to review 2016, as well as give a preview of the municipal plans for 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Topics of interest, such as the Paseo Mar\u00edtimo and the planned beach relief road were covered, in a relaxed chat that did not miss out Richard\u2019s question on the Town Council\u2019s position regarding the Brexit issue. Both the Mayor of Moj\u00e1car and the Councillor for Foreigners confirmed the municipal position, in continuing to support and offer the same services to the British population, regardless of the UK&#8217;s membership in the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>During the programme, Richard Shanley and the Mayor agreed to make contact with Spectrum listeners a feature every other month, in order to keep everyone up to date with municipality news. The Mayor and her team also took the opportunity to wish the entire British population of the municipality a Happy Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n<p>Spectrum FM Moj\u00e1car, Almer\u00eda, is part of Spain&#8217;s largest English-language radio network, committed to providing the local community with all the latest information.
