{"id":6375,"date":"2017-08-19T17:46:51","date_gmt":"2017-08-19T15:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=6375"},"modified":"2017-08-19T17:46:51","modified_gmt":"2017-08-19T15:46:51","slug":"ii-mojacar-golf-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/ii-mojacar-golf-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd &#8220;Villa de Moj\u00e1car&#8221; Golf tournament."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The \u2018II Torneo de Golf Villa de Moj\u00e1car\u2019 was recently held at the Marina Golf Course at Marina de la Torre.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The \u2018II Torneo de Golf Villa de Moj\u00e1car\u2019 was recently held at the Marina Golf Course at Marina de la Torre, when around fifty<br \/>\nplayers enjoyed a day of play with spectacular Mediterranean views.<br \/>\nIt was a Stableford competition, the most common in club tournaments, as it allows a freer game in which the golfer can &#8220;pick up\u201d their ball when all their available strokes for the hole have been taken.<\/p>\n<p>In the second category, established by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and made up of players with a handicap over 18, the top two were Karyn Exp\u00f3sito and Jos\u00e9 Alonso Nistral, both from the Marina Moj\u00e1car Golf Club.  Top in the first category, with handicaps between 0 and 18, were Je\u00f3nimo Tara de Miguel, from the Club de La Env\u00eda and Gustavo Penno Taboada, from Desert Springs Golf Club. The day\u2019s Scratch trophy went to Rodriguez Gutierrez, from Madrid\u2019s Lomas Golf Club.  As usual there were prizes for the longest drive and the nearest ball.  <\/p>\n<p>Councillor for Sports, Ana Garc\u00eda, awarded trophies to the winners, along with the Manager of Marina Golf.
