{"id":6583,"date":"2017-09-21T16:11:14","date_gmt":"2017-09-21T14:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=6583"},"modified":"2017-09-21T16:11:14","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T14:11:14","slug":"mojacar-creative-literary-publications-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-creative-literary-publications-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car hosts first creative literary publications conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>This first high level gathering of important participants, has been organized by the Moj\u00e1car based association &#8220;Acci\u00f3n Cultural del Levante Almeriense.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moj\u00e1car is set to host the First Creative Literary Publications Conference on September 22 and 23 at the Town\u2019s Parador Hotel, which will bring together a wide range of participants representing the writing world such as authors, members of professional writing and editing associations, as well as academics from a number of Andalucian universities. Among those on the guest list are; Winners of National and Andalucian Literature and Critics Awards, the 2017 Loewe Poetry Award Winner, the President of the Andalucian Association of Critics and Writers and, the Director of the Andalucian Arts Centre.<br \/>\n This first high level gathering of important participants, has been organized by the Moj\u00e1car based association &#8220;Acci\u00f3n Cultural del Levante Almeriense&#8221;, in collaboration with Moj\u00e1car Council, the Parador Nacional de Turismo, Complejo Mara\u00fa, Ibercaja and Sorbas Canyons Golf Resort, with sponsorship from Francisco Martinez-Cosentino, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Flores and Mariano Viudez.<br \/>\n During the weekend, the speakers will discuss, from a variety of viewpoints, issues related to the difficulties encountered in the region\u2019s literary writing and publishing.<br \/>\n The first Working Session will take place on Friday September 22 at 6.30 pm, in the Parador hotel\u2019s Conference Hall, where opinions on professional problems can be shared, followed by a debate at 8:30 pm.<br \/>\n Saturday\u2019s Working Session will start at 11.00 a.m. in the morning, with an academic perspective on contemporary literature and publishing followed at 12.15 a.m. by a presentation on the problematic state of the literary world faced by Andaluc\u00edan writers.
