{"id":6741,"date":"2017-10-06T19:30:57","date_gmt":"2017-10-06T17:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/taller-biodanza-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2017-10-07T12:15:28","modified_gmt":"2017-10-07T10:15:28","slug":"mojacar-carmen-burgos-biodanza-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-carmen-burgos-biodanza-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car runs  &#8220;Carmen de Burgos biodanza&#8221; course."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The creative \u2018Biodanza\u2019 course, entitled \u2018Carmen de Burgos\u2019 has recently started in Moj\u00e1car, inaugurated by the Town\u2019s Councillor for Culture, Raquel Belmonte.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tIt is set to run until later this month and is part of the Provincial Strategy for Equality in Almer\u00eda Province, coordinated by the Equality Commission within Almer\u00eda\u2019s Provincial Diputaci\u00f3n, in collaboration with Moj\u00e1car Council.<\/p>\n<p>The Equality Commission Delegation has named this activity \u2018Carmen de Burgos\u2019, in honour of the Almer\u00edan journalist and writer of that name, who was one of the early prominent activists fighting for the rights of the Spanish women.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Biodanza\u2019, literally the dance of life, is a new and increasingly popular system of self-development that uses music, movement and positive feelings to deepen self-awareness. It seeks to promote the ability to make a holistic link to oneself and one&#8217;s emotions and to express them, as well as encourage group integration.<\/p>\n<p>So far, the workshops, taught by Isabel Aguilar Mingot, have met with high interest and praise from the local women taking part and, Raquel Belmonte.  It is not the first time, however, that the Provincial Diputaci\u00f3n and Moj\u00e1car Council have organised local workshops in the name of &#8216;Carmen de Burgos&#8217;, as last year they ran a series of painting workshops which also were very successful and well attended.
