{"id":6762,"date":"2017-10-11T17:52:49","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T15:52:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=6762"},"modified":"2017-10-11T17:52:49","modified_gmt":"2017-10-11T15:52:49","slug":"mojacar-mayor-signs-agreement-phase-ii-coastal-bypass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-mayor-signs-agreement-phase-ii-coastal-bypass\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car\u00b4s Mayor signs agreement for phase II of the coastal bypass."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Mayor, Rosmari Cano, and the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Felipe L\u00f3pez, signed a collaboration agreement between his department within the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda and Moj\u00e1car Council at the local Town Hall on October 10th, for the construction of the second phase of the coastal relief road.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The signing was also attended by; the Regional Minister of Agriculture from the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Rodrigo S\u00e1nchez Haro, the Andalucian Government Delegate, Gracia Fern\u00e1ndez, the Director General for Infrastructures, Jesus Huertas and the Almerian Territorial Delegate for Development and Housing, Joaqu\u00edn Jimenez.<\/p>\n<p>Rosmari Cano emphasized the importance of this bypass to the tourism sector due to the long tailbacks that occur, mainly in summer, on the access roads to the different urban zones near the beach area.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister for Development, in turn, stressed the technical cooperation between both administrations that will make the construction of this route possible, which will bring an improvement to the quality of life in Moj\u00e1car.<\/p>\n<p>The Junta de Andaluc\u00eda has provided the land already expropriated as well as any additional expropriations that are necessary. It will also be in charge of directing the execution of the works.
