{"id":6952,"date":"2017-11-18T17:45:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-18T15:45:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=6952"},"modified":"2017-11-18T17:45:25","modified_gmt":"2017-11-18T15:45:25","slug":"mojacars-theatre-season-draws-to-a-close","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacars-theatre-season-draws-to-a-close\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car\u00b4s theatre season draws to a close."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car\u2019s theatre season, organised by the Council\u2019s Culture Department, is drawing to a close with the penultimate play, &#8220;Polvorones&#8221;, staged on Friday 17th November at the town\u2019s Centro de Usos Multiples.  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A funny comedy featuring the actors, Jazmin Abu\u00edn, M\u00f3nica Vic, Paqui Horcajo and Laura Toledo, the play\u2019s setting is at a dinner party with a close knit group of old friends, all with different personalities, when something  out of the ordinary happens when a topic comes up for discussion.<br \/>\n\tMoj\u00e1car is traditionally a theatre loving town and, Friday nights in November are dedicated as a time to enjoy a selection of performances.  This year\u2019s series reached its halfway point the previous week with &#8220;Pareja Abierta&#8221;, by Dario Fo, a Novel Prize winner for Literature, with the actors Bego\u00f1a Mill\u00e1n and Paco Arellano from the Tamerlan Theatre Company.<br \/>\nOn November 24th, the play will be \u201cBuffet de Bufonadas\u201d, a classic comedy with an interesting set of characters based on works by Moli\u00e8re,  brought uniquely to modern times.
