{"id":7368,"date":"2018-03-09T18:17:35","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T16:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=7368"},"modified":"2018-03-09T18:17:35","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T16:17:35","slug":"mojacar-local-police-give-safety-classes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-local-police-give-safety-classes\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car police give safety classes at school."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car Local Police have been giving road safety education sessions to children at the Town\u2019s Bartolom\u00e9 Flores School.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moj\u00e1car Local Police have been giving road safety education sessions to children at the Town\u2019s Bartolom\u00e9 Flores School, advising the youngsters on appropriate, safe and responsible ways to conduct themselves when out of the home in general.<br \/>\nThe four groups of 10 to 12 year olds took part in these valuable talks given by the Police, which were delivered in a light-hearted way with fun role play, yet providing some very practical examples to instil good habits and behaviour.<br \/>\nThe children came away with a number of valuable tips and advice from Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Police, who became teachers for a day, instructing the pupils how to go out and about safely, with an awareness of road safety.<br \/>\nThis Project has been has been going on for over six years now and its effectiveness, as well as the children\u2019s response, has identified the need to add additional courses.<br \/>\nFor the Local Police\u2019s Road Education Unit, this initiation is of utmost importance adding &#8220;our children are small pedestrians, passengers in many different types of transport as well as potential drivers.
