{"id":7479,"date":"2018-04-05T09:31:36","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T07:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/nueva-convocatoria-paseo-arte-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2018-04-06T19:27:12","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T17:27:12","slug":"mojacar-holds-second-paseo-arte-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-holds-second-paseo-arte-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car holds its second &#8220;Paseo del Arte&#8221; event."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The &#8220;Paseo del Arte&#8221; show will return to Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Promenade for a second run, after its hugely successful inauguration in March.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tFrom 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday 7th April, art and other painting activities will once again transform Moj\u00e1car\u2019s sea front into an open air gallery.<br \/>\n\tNew artists will be joining in on this event and there will be more than 150 paintings for sale on show, keeping alive the bohemian, international atmosphere that has always characterized Moj\u00e1car, whilst providing valuable proceeds to selected charities once again.<br \/>\n\tAmong the show\u2019s initiatives, named by the organizers as the \u201ccuadro del p\u00fablico\u201d or \u201cpeople\u2019s painting, is based on an initial sketch prepared by one of the participating artists, then added to and evolved by anyone attending with their own brushstrokes &#038; colours.<br \/>\nLast month, 94 painting volunteers from 8 different countries, including Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Tourism Councillor put their own touches to the finished piece which later was on auctioned on Facebook\u2019s Moj\u00e1car Forum for 350 euros, to be destined to charitable causes.<br \/>\n\tThe next painting will be inspired by the silhouette of Moj\u00e1car Pueblo so that budding artists can fill in and flood the houses and streets with colour, flowers and atmosphere.<br \/>\n\tMoj\u00e1car\u2019s Mayor, Rosmar\u00ed Cano, cut the red tape to officially open last month\u2019s initiative, accompanied by Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero Leclerc, the Tourism Councillor.
