{"id":7614,"date":"2018-05-26T10:40:16","date_gmt":"2018-05-26T08:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/?p=7614"},"modified":"2018-05-26T10:40:16","modified_gmt":"2018-05-26T08:40:16","slug":"mojacar-floral-indalo-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-floral-indalo-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car holds its third Floral Indalo Weekend."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>This weekend, for the third consecutive year, Moj\u00e1car is holding its Floral Indalo Festival, which pulls together a celebration of its characteristic emblem, the Indalo, with the arrival of spring\u2019s new flowers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\tFrom Friday 25 to Sunday 27 May, Moj\u00e1car will be literally flooded with flowers and music for residents and visitors to enjoy, simply by exploring the captivating streets and squares of the town.<br \/>\n\tThe Floral Indalo Festival is organized by Moj\u00e1car Pueblo Merchants Association, in collaboration with the Town Council, with the full participation of those Moj\u00e1car&#8217;s residents who take particular pride at this time of year to make the town look even more beautiful.<br \/>\nAround six thousand flowers will be used to decorate the nine, 2 metre high Indalos by both by locals as well as visitors, which will be all set up in the pretty squares of the Old Town, giving everyone a chance to see Moj\u00e1car at its floral best.<br \/>\n\tFor the first time, a floral display will be placed at the emblematic Fountain, La Fuente, with the others at Plaza Rey Alabez, Plaza Nueva, Plaza de la Iglesia and, Plazas de Parterre, Del Ayuntamiento, Ca\u00f1o, Las Flores and Del Front\u00f3n, all competing for the prize for the best \u2018Indalo de Flores 2018\u2019 which an international jury will be charged with the difficult task of judging.
