{"id":8355,"date":"2018-09-15T17:55:28","date_gmt":"2018-09-15T15:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/entre-dos-almeria-exposicion-pintura-mojacar\/"},"modified":"2018-09-17T17:10:37","modified_gmt":"2018-09-17T15:10:37","slug":"entre-dos-almeria-exhibition-mojacar-art-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/entre-dos-almeria-exhibition-mojacar-art-gallery\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Entre dos &#8230;.. y Almer\u00eda&#8221;, a new exhibition at Moj\u00e1car\u00b4s art gallery."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Municipal Art Gallery, \u201cLa Fuente\u201d has opened the exhibition \u201cEntre dos\u2026 y Almer\u00eda\u201d, showcasing recent works from two Almer\u00edan painters, Diego F\u00e1brega and Crist\u00f3bal Fern\u00e1ndez, who display their inspiration for the area\u2019s incredible light and unmistakable landscapes.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tDiego Fabrega was born in 1957 in Taberno, Almer\u00eda, studying at Albox and, from an early age he felt drawn towards art and poetry.<br \/>\nHe has edited poetry books such as \u201cLento el Arado\u201d, \u201cLos Exilios\u201d, \u201cDios Menor\u201d, \u201cFe de Vida\u201d, as well as other publications such as \u201cGu\u00eda F\u00e1cil, Edible Setas Comestibles de Almer\u00eda\u201d. He is a collaborator with the History and Ethnography \u201cVelezana Magazine\u201d and takes part in various Almer\u00edan collective poetry works, as well as exhibiting his photography and painting in the region.<br \/>\nCrist\u00f3bal Fern\u00e1ndez, also from Almeria, boasts an extensive career as a versatile painter, sculptor and designer, exhibiting widely in Spain as well as internationally.  A member of the 80s Sevillano Group, his work has moved from abstract expressionism and evolved towards a conceptual, gestural style of painting in which the \u2018action\u2019 of its production is of key importance. His own way of thinking, passions and lifestyle are always expressed in his diverse art whether it be on a canvas, in steel or in stone.     \t This interesting collective exhibition can be seen, free of charge, at the Centro de Art &#8220;La Fuente&#8221; until September 30th.
