{"id":8551,"date":"2018-10-16T17:20:24","date_gmt":"2018-10-16T15:20:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=8551"},"modified":"2018-10-16T17:20:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-16T15:20:52","slug":"mojacar-hosts-national-veterans-mountain-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-hosts-national-veterans-mountain-sport\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car hosts national veterans mountain Sport Federation 45th get together."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Last weekend, Moj\u00e1car turned into the HQ for the National Veteran Mountaineers 45th gathering, with around 600 members descending on the town from all over Spain.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>This massive annual meeting is organized by the Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing, FEDME, along with the Andaluc\u00edan Mountaineering Federation, FAM.<br \/>\nThe event was put together by its committee of Veterans together with the Club Excursionista Montenegro, in collaboration with Almer\u00eda\u2019s Provincial Council and the local Councils of Moj\u00e1car, B\u00e9dar, Cuevas del Almanzora, Pulp\u00ed, Sorbas and N\u00edjar.<br \/>\nAmong the activities programmed by the organization at different locations for these over 40 year old affiliated mountaineers, the Mena de Moj\u00e1car route attracted the highest number of participants out of all the suggested activities.
