{"id":8644,"date":"2018-10-30T19:01:03","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T17:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=8644"},"modified":"2018-10-30T19:02:56","modified_gmt":"2018-10-30T17:02:56","slug":"mojacar-launches-autumn-theatre-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-launches-autumn-theatre-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car launches its autumn theatre season."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car Council\u2019s Department of Culture has launched this Autumn&#8217;s annual theatre season that is set to take place every Friday until December 15 at the town\u2019s Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tGoing under the slogan &#8220;Come to the Theatre&#8221;, the series kicked off with the comedy, &#8220;La Puebla de las Muj\u00e9res&#8221;, by the Hermanos \u00c1lvarez Quintero, drawing in a good audience of local residents as well as people from other towns The play was staged by Garrucha\u2019s veteran acting group &#8220;Nacidas del Mar&#8221;, all aged between 60 and 80, who acted out the daily life and happenings of a group of gossiping local people from a small Andaluc\u00edan town.<br \/>\n\tRaquel Belmonte, Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Councillor for Culture was keen to point out the town\u2019s great theatrical tradition saying, &#8220;Moj\u00e1car founded the province\u2019s first theatre in which the whole town participated. The love for acting has never been lost and, today we have new generations of young people who have formed their own theatre group, Aquelarre, performing as well as writing their own works.&#8221;<br \/>\n\tThe next show will be on Friday, November 2, with \u201cNinet y un se\u00f1or de Murcia\u201d, a classic by Miguel Mihura, performed by the group &#8220;La Cometa&#8221; from the Compa\u00f1\u00eda Estable de Teatro de Almer\u00eda.<br \/>\nM\u00e1ximo Valverde will then appear in Moj\u00e1car for the staging of his own &#8220;Mi Querida Maribel&#8221;, sharing the bill with the singer and actress Eva Santamar\u00eda, who will be performing songs as well as taking on the roles of the different characters.<br \/>\nThis will be followed by &#8220;La Enferma por Amor&#8221; by Carlo Goldoni and \u201cDivorciadas, Evang\u00e9licas y Vegetarianas\u201d by Gustavo Ott.<br \/>\nThe season will end on December 15th with the local theatre group \u201cAgrupaci\u00f3n Teatral Aquelarre\u201d, who will take to the stage with two works, &#8220;Laura&#8221; and, \u201cUn Cad\u00e1ver a los Postres\u201d by Neil Simon.<br \/>\n\tAll performances will take place in the town\u2019s Centro de Usos M\u00faltiples and tickets can be purchased on the door or in advance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moj\u00e1car Council\u2019s Department of Culture has launched this Autumn&#8217;s annual theatre season that is set to take place every Friday [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":8626,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"rs_blank_template":"","rs_page_bg_color":"","slide_template_v7":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[34,32,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8644","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualidad-en","category-news","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/8644","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=8644"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/8644\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/8626"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=8644"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=8644"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=8644"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
