{"id":9160,"date":"2019-03-06T13:25:50","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T11:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-cinco-playas-galardonadas-sicted\/"},"modified":"2019-03-07T15:38:20","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T13:38:20","slug":"secretary-of-state-for-tourism-awards-five-beaches-in-mojacar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/secretary-of-state-for-tourism-awards-five-beaches-in-mojacar\/","title":{"rendered":"Secretary of State for Tourism Awards five beaches  in Moj\u00e1car"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Moj\u00e1car Tourism Councillor, Emmanuel Ag\u00fcero, was recently given the pleasant task of receiving the Spanish Tourism Quality (\u2018SICTED\u2019) award, created by the Secretary of State for Tourism, for five of the town\u2019s beaches.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tThe beaches of Venta el Bancal, Ventanicas, Piedra Villazar, Descargador and Marina de la Torre were selected for this \u2018Tourist Quality Commitment\u2019 honour, which recognizes and accredits the work done in order to meet their rigorous set of requirements.<br \/>\n\tThis prestigious acknowledgement, from the Secretary of State for Tourism, is in addition to the \u2018Blue Flag\u2019 awards that are granted annually by the European Foundation for Environmental Education, which fly on Moj\u00e1car\u2019s beaches every summer.<br \/>\n\tThis stamp confirms the efforts made over the years by the Tourism Department to present one of the town\u2019s most important attractions at its optimum. It also gives credit to the economic and human investment put into Moj\u00e1car\u2019s beaches, which have resulted in increased services, personnel and quality facilities.<br \/>\n\tThese efforts are not, however, confined to the beach, but extend to all the services on offer in Moj\u00e1car, so this is not the first SICTED distinction received.
