{"id":9266,"date":"2019-04-01T17:22:28","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=9266"},"modified":"2019-04-01T17:26:29","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:26:29","slug":"al-mojacar-photography-projetc-captures-the-spirit-of-the-towns-resident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/al-mojacar-photography-projetc-captures-the-spirit-of-the-towns-resident\/","title":{"rendered":"The Al Moj\u00e1car photography projetc captures the spirit of the town\u00b4s residents."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The Al Moj\u00e1car photography projetc captures the spirit of the town\u00b4s residents. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Al_Moj\u00e1car Fotograf\u00eda project has been created by Moj\u00e1car photographer, Miguel Garc\u00eda Campoy, with the aim of capturing images of the town\u2019s residents to build up a pictorial memory catalogue for current and future generations.<br \/>\n\tTo bring his idea to fruition, Miguel has asked residents that were born in Moj\u00e1car, as well as those who have chosen to live in the town, to collaborate by posing for an individual or group photograph at the Centro de Usos Multiples in the Pueblo.  He will be there with his camera ready on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. or from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. or at other times by arrangement.<br \/>\n\tIt is free to participate and those sitting can come dressed however they wish but in a way that is personal to them and, he is hoping to photograph as many Mojaqueros as possible to create a visual testimony of those living in the town that will be kept in the Town Hall as a time capsule.<br \/>\n\tFor years, Miguel&#8217;s camera has snapped Moj\u00e1car and its people and, his archives are full of the town\u2019s fiestas as well as simple moments in which local characters are reflected by a greeting, a smile, or a gesture. These images depict some of the everyday life in Moj\u00e1car that can often go unnoticed, but which reveals a lot about the town and its people when contemplated in a photograph.<br \/>\n\tThe project has the support of both Moj\u00e1car and Almer\u00eda Provincial Councils and is part of the Alnomal\u00eda Contemporary Art Aid Biennial, which aims to promote development in the plastic arts.<br \/>\nThe images will form an exhibition at the \u2018La Fuente\u2019 Art Centre in the Pueblo, which will be inaugurated on April 17th and will remain open until the April 29th.<br \/>\nMiguel Garc\u00eda Campoy is an artist dedicated to photography and his unmistakable talent can be seen under the brand \u2018Jarabe de Luz\u2019 (which can be seen on Facebook along with his contact details).
