{"id":9292,"date":"2019-04-10T08:24:18","date_gmt":"2019-04-10T06:24:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/concierto-piano-en-mojacar-ofrecido-por-alumnos-escuela-municipal-musica\/"},"modified":"2019-04-10T12:07:27","modified_gmt":"2019-04-10T10:07:27","slug":"mojacar-music-school-students-perform-piano-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-music-school-students-perform-piano-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Moj\u00e1car Music School students  perform Piano Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Piano students from Moj\u00e1car\u2019s Music School recently gave a concert in the town\u2019s Church to mark the start of the programme of activities planned by the local Council for Holy Week.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\tTen young pianists, from 8 to 15 years old, performed a medley of well-known pieces ranging from Brahms&#8217; Cradle Song to soundtracks from famous films such as Titanic and Forest Gump.<br \/>\n\tFor the last two years, these students have performed twice annually, to celebrate the day of Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of music, as well as at Easter time.  Both events have become very popular and, eagerly awaited by Moj\u00e1car\u2019s residents, who appreciate good music of all kinds.<br \/>\nConcert direction was in the hands of the students\u2019 piano teacher, Yolanda Parra Niederhauser, who also performed &#8220;Coraz\u00f3n de Ni\u00f1o&#8221; by Ra\u00fal di Blasio.  Over the last 14 years, Yolanda has taught the preliminary music classes to the youngest pupils between 3 and 7 years of age, as well as being the piano teacher at the Municipal Music School.<br \/>\n35 students are currently attending the School\u2019s piano classes and the standard they can reach by practising one of the most complete musical instruments is endless.
