{"id":9353,"date":"2019-04-23T17:05:54","date_gmt":"2019-04-23T15:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/?p=9353"},"modified":"2019-04-23T17:06:08","modified_gmt":"2019-04-23T15:06:08","slug":"mojacar-the-photographic-exhibition-al-mojacar-captures-the-people-of-the-town","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mojacar.es\/en\/mojacar-the-photographic-exhibition-al-mojacar-captures-the-people-of-the-town\/","title":{"rendered":"The photographic exhibition &#8220;Al Moj\u00e1car&#8221; captures the people of the town."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The &#8220;Al_Moj\u00e1car&#8221; photography exhibition was recently inaugurated at Moj\u00e1car\u00b4s La Fuente Centro de Arte, showing a selection of Miguel Garc\u00eda Campoy\u00b4s project which has involved in photographing the town\u00b4s residents.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>50 of the 200 photographs he has compiled to date are on show, all in black and white because as Miguel says, \u201cit makes everyone equal and brings them to the same level.\u201d  The images show some of the well known characters that can be found every day walking around Moj\u00e1car, including generations looking at camera together, girls in dancing costumes or playing with soap bubbles, bandits, Moors and musicians.  It presents a whole universe full of life that for now, are watching from the other side of the camera lens.<br \/>\nAl_Moj\u00e1car is part of Alnomalia and the Contemporary Art Aid Biennial, which aims to promote the plastic arts and is a project organised by Almer\u00eda\u00b4s Provincial Council, with in this case, the support of Moj\u00e1car Council.<br \/>\n\tMiguel\u00b4s aim was to give photography prominence in making solid images as nowadays, with the ease in which they can be taken, they often pass into the background or are soon erased.  To achieve this authenticity, his photographs for Al_Moj\u00e1car are traditional, &#8220;without any tricks&#8221; and, have been taken quickly to give spontaneity and capture a true expression.<br \/>\nThe inauguration was attended by Raquel Belmonte, Moj\u00e1car\u00b4s Councillor for Culture, Mar\u00eda Luisa P\u00e9rez, the Councillor to the Mayor&#8217;s Office, as well as representatives from Almer\u00eda Provincial Council\u00b4s Culture Department.<br \/>\nThe exhibition will be open to the public until April 29th, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, although Miguel is continuing with his project to photograph the town\u00b4s residents.
