Mojácar Tourist Office registers a 15% increase in face-to-face enquiries in 2024
The Mojácar Tourist Office closed 2024 with positive results, consolidating itself as a reference point for visitors to the region. According to the daily survey carried out at its facilities, the total number of face-to-face enquiries registered an increase of 15.02% compared to the previous year, going from 32,295 enquiries in 2023 to 37,148 in 2024, which represents an increase of 4,853 enquiries.
Furthermore, if we add enquiries made through social media, emails, WhatsApp, letters and phone calls, the figure rises to a total of 64,689 enquiries. This figure reflects the growing trend of visitors to use digital channels to request information, an area in which the Mojácar Tourist Office has invested significantly in recent years.
This growth reflects not only the attractiveness of Mojácar as a tourist destination, but also the continuous effort of the Tourist Office to offer a quality service, available in person and through multiple channels throughout the year.
The Mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, highlighted the importance of these figures: “These results confirm that Mojácar continues to consolidate itself as a benchmark tourist destination. It is a reflection of the joint work that the Local Council and the Tourist Office carry out to offer an approachable and accessible service to our visitors. This year we have shown that Mojácar not only attracts more tourists, but also knows how to build their loyalty by offering them unique experiences.”
For her part, Carmen García Campoy, the Mojácar Tourist Office director, underlined the team’s efforts to adapt to visitors’ demands: “We are very pleased with the increase in in-person enquiries, but we also greatly value the continued growth of non-face-to-face enquiries through digital channels such as WhatsApp, social media and our website. Our commitment is to be available to visitors in an efficient way, using both traditional means and new technologies.”
Mojácar continues to position itself as one of the preferred tourist destinations, thanks to its cultural and scenic wealth and the quality of the service offered to its visitors. This increase in visits reflects the confidence of tourists in the region’s offering and the effectiveness of the tourism promotion strategies implemented.
