Mojácar welcomes Autumn with a new edition of the “Your Best Moment is to Live it in Autumn” Programme

Mojácar Council has welcomed autumn with the return of the successful outdoor activities programne “Your best moment is to live it in autumn,” an initiative that invites residents and visitors to enjoy the privileged climate, the landscapes and the healthy lifestyle that characterise the municipality even outside of the summer season.

This free programme, which will run over the coming months, includes a wide variety of activities such as yoga by the sea, hiking trails, and skating, designed to encourage family sports, physical exercise, and the enjoyment of Mojácar’s natural surroundings.

The new edition began with the “Yoga by the Sea” activity at Playa del Descargador, where dozens of participants enjoyed a morning of relaxation, balance and connection with nature facing the Mediterranean.

In addition, this Saturday 18th of October, there will be the first hiking route of the season, covering the Marina de la Torre area. This will allow those taking part to discover Mojácar’s natural and scenic charms in the excellent autumn weather.

Among the new features of this edition are the addition of new hiking routes that will go through different parts of the municipality, offering hiking enthusiasts the opportunity to explore lesser-known corners and enjoy spectacular views of the Mojácar area.

The Mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, emphasized the importance of these types of programmes, which consolidate Mojácar as a year-round active destination: “With initiatives like this, we want to show that Mojácar is much more than sun and sand. We have a privileged natural environment that invites you to enjoy sport, nature, and a healthy lifestyle at any time of year. This programme is a way of continuing to encourage citizen participation and show our visitors another side of the municipality, just as attractive.”

The “Your best moment is to live it in autumn” programme will continue to run every weekend until spring 2026, with free activities open to the public.
To view the full calendar and take part in the various activities, those interested can follow Mojácar Council’s official social media channels or visit the municipality’s Tourist Office for more information.
