Mojácar attracts more than 1.500 dancers to Latin Dance Convention.
Over 1,500 dancers came together to take part in the annual dance convention “Levántate y Baila”, organized by the Hotel Servigroup Marina Mar de Mojácar.
It is an event that draws in both professionals and amateurs of bachata and salsa every year from all over Spain and, it has become one of the most attractive diary dates across Europe for this type of dance, when Mojácar becomes the capital of Latin rhythms.
The on-going success of the weekend is borne out by the high number of participants, which was fully booked within a month, as well as the well-known world class salsa and bachata dancers such as Versy and Rodrigo, Mambología and Afro Flow amongst others.
For those attending, it was an exciting time of non-stop music, dance, concerts, performances and competitions with workshops given by the on-site professionals, all taking place in the unbeatable facilities of the Marina Mar Hotel.
Although the Servigroup chain started this event eight years ago, this is fourth time it has been held in Mojácar, with a theme of Ancient Greece this year, which included impressive acrobats and fire shows that transported everyone back to the land of Greek myths and legends.
