Mojácar improves access to beaches and clears natural paths for a safe summer
Mojácar Council reaffirms its commitment to the municipality’s residents and tourists, making a continuous effort to improve their quality of life.
Over the last few weeks, a series of important improvements have been carried out in Mojácar. These actions have the main aim of guaranteeing safe access to the beaches and keeping the environmental paths clean and accessible.
With the arrival of summer, maintenance and cleaning work has been intensified on the accesses to Mojácar’s beaches. These improvements ensure that everyone can enjoy the coast in the best possible conditions. At the same time, clearing work has been carried out on the municipality’s natural paths, including the Adelfa – La Olla path, the Macenas – Torre Pirulico – Sobrerico – Granatillas path, the Estrecho – El Jalí path, the Barranqueras path, the Aljuézar – Las Barranqueras path and the Picacho path.
These actions are crucial for fire prevention and to facilitate the passage of emergency vehicles in the event of incidents. The municipal corporation makes sure that keeping these paths in optimal conditions is a priority to guarantee the safety of all those who enjoy the natural routes and green spaces.
The Works Councillor, Jesús Montoya, personally supervised the improvement works and expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out. “I have been able to confirm first-hand the excellent work of the workers. These improvements not only beautify our environment, but are also essential to prevent possible fires during the summer season,” affirmed Montoya.
Mojácar continues working to be a cleaner, safer and more accessible place, hence ensuring a sustainable and welcoming environment for everyone.
